(3/1/08) Hi Ted: The Entertainers were wonderful! Everyone loved them! They were set up on time. They were helpful in figuring out the music flow, breaks, etc. Earl was very easy to deal with and the other members were extremely nice. They had what they wanted to eat so everyone was happy. One member of our club came up to me at the end and made a point to tell me that he loves to dance and they were the best band we had ever had. He was one of many who complimented the Entertainers! We had more people stay until the end of the dance than ever before. I have to say, it's the best La Coterie party I've ever been to! Thanks so much for the suggestion! I even bought a CD! I'll be in touch with the name of next year's President who will decide the band. Thanks again for all of your help. I definitely made the right decision! Jane Woodin (2/23/08) This band was wonderful! Everyone enjoyed the music. The first time I have not had one single complaint about the music! We are booking them again next year. It will be in January, but don't have the date pinned down yet. I will be back in touch. Betsy Best The Entertainers did an absolutely wonderful job. They were very professional, kept the crowd happy, upbeat and were great to work with. Earl and the folks did a fantastic job and made Katie and Michael's wedding reception very special. Person after person came up to me and ask, "where did you get that band"? Even with Earl's recent surgery he was great. Please tell anyone who needs a reference for the band to give me a call. I even found myself singing Mustang Sally yesterday at work. That tells you something. Thanks for everything. Rick Franklin These guys were great. From the moment the tech guy pulled into the parking lot until they left the building they were great to work with. Our people really enjoyed them and responded well. We had a ton of new faces that attended that night and that is why we do things like this. I couldn't have been happier with the results. My hat is off to you and "The Entertainers". Thanks much, Jeff The Entertainers played at our daughter's wedding reception on June 3rd. Give them 5 stars! They were great, a super bunch of guys. Earl played our requests and read the flow of the evening perfectly. I would highly recommend this group to anyone that wants a class act. They were professionals all the way. They were able to go from country to John Mayer. All guests ask what was the name of that band and how did I find them. I am actually glad you emailed me b/c I had wanted to get in touch with you and sing their praises. They were able to get the crowd involved and make sure everyone had fun on the dance floor. I would definately want to use them again for another occasion and I know several other people are interested too. Stephanie McKenney Thought I would tell you that The Entertainers performed an excellent show for the Town of Aberdeen Parks and Recreation Department at our Fun Family Fourth of July Celebration. They were a high energy, very versatile, and entertaining group! They played a variety of music; something for every age group! The Mayor, Town Manager, and I were thrilled with their performance! Citizens are still talking about the wonderful group that was at Aberdeen Lake Park on July 4th. Please relay these comments to Earl Dawkins and the other members! We will definitely book The Entertainers for another event next summer! I was so pleased with the performance of the Entertainers. They were awesome!!! They kept the party going all night long. They played exactly what I asked for, and remembered all of my requests. Even the babies and grandmothers were dancing. My guest raved about the band and has asked our club manager to bring them back to perform at our next club function. They are true professionals!! I look forward to having them play again!!!! People were dancing that had not danced for years, people were singing that had not sung in years and the stage presence of the band was wonderful. They were a perfect band for a perfect wedding and if you could extend our compliments I would appreciate it. Thanks again for representing such a talent group of people. My daughter was correct, they are the best. J.T. (Sandy) Sanders I just wanted you to know what a success our Black-tie banquet was this past Friday night in Col. Wmsburg. The Entertainers were great to work with in advance of the performance and did an awesome job making the 520+ dinner/dance guests happy! We particularly appreciated their working with us on doing an extended set so as to avoid our loosing the audience. I have to use a variety of bands for our meetings, but as soon as I can throw The Entertainers back into the mix, I will be certain to do that! b. Just wanted to let you know how absolutely WONDERFUL the band was this past Saturday night. Not only did they sound and play fantastic, they were extremely EASY to work with, especially with the very difficult turn we had to do after the cocktail hour. None of the guests knew what went on behind closed doors during cocktail hour, but it was rough and Earl and the band worked so hard to set up everything such a short amount of time. Earl was so patient with all the last minute changes and just handled everything beautifully. Plain and simple, they just ROCKED! Best Regards, Catherine Bell I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with the Entertainers. They played at my wedding reception in February. Their music was wonderful, and they were so nice to work with. Everyone danced all night, and I just got the DVD from the reception last week and enjoyed seeing everyone on the dance floor again. My only regret was that as the bride I had to talk to everyone and couldn't be on the dance floor all night! Everyone really enjoyed themselves, and I credit The Entertainers for that.
